The House program inculcates the qualities of leadership, cooperation, mutual understanding, tolerance and self – reliance. Various activities include Drama, Debate, Declamation, Group singing, Dancing etc. A regular record of the student's participation and achievement in the curricular activities are maintained and points are rewarded to each house on various parameters.
Values such as confidence building, discipline, team work and determination are successfully instilled in children through games & sports.
We, at Daisy believe that “Sport is a way of life". Thus, it is mandatory for all the students. Games and sports have a major role in children's development.
This being the age of information technology, it becomes the responsibility of the school to make it accessible for it's students. Also the accounting and administrative work of the school is equipped with the latest test software.
Current understanding about Mathematics education tells is that activities with concrete materials lie at the heart of mathematical competencies and is a key to climbing up the steps of abstraction. Children first need to have a meaning, make sense of the world around them-develop number sense and spatial sense – before they can successfully grasp the concepts of mathematics. It is with this understanding that Daisy has initiated its Maths Lab program where learning mathematics takes place through activities.
The English and Hindi Language Labs aim to enhance proficiency in Spoken English and writing Hindi through its emphasis on activity – based learning. The Lab organizes a host of contests throughout the year to promote confidence - building and personality development. It trains students in spoken English through a well defined curriculum and focus on the skills of listening, speaking and writing.
To develop communication between parents and teachers, regular PTMs are organized. PTM helps to communicate with parents about the areas their children are excelling in and to give them the exact idea on how to improve their child’s performance. PTM is a platform to make long lasting bond with the parents to increase the possibility of academic success of their child.
